this is a pretty sight to see for me in the middle of the semester.
right now we are supposed to be in grand cayman relaxing on the beach with our friends kyler and rachel.
but...instead we are in houston, tx hanging out in a hotel trying to figure out how to get to cayman.
brian had to send his passport to the japan consulate to get his japanese working visa for the summer.
he thought his canadian passport would work, but turns out it expired in december.
we were on the phone all night long (seriously didn't get a wink of sleep for our 6am flight)
and we tried figuring everything out.
we got to houston just fine but from here they wouldn't let brian leave the country without physically having his passport.
the japan consulate is overnighting his passport and hopefully it gets here before our flight tomorrow!
it has definitely been a rough day.
we seriously have the worst problems whenever we travel (like when we missed our flight back home from our honeymoon).
so, wish us luck that we will make it on our flight tomorrow!
